Exciting and rapidly growing integrated telehealth addiction and behavioral health treatment startup is seeking a Business Development Representative role. The Business Development Representative will be responsible for prospecting activity related to hospital/health systems, community health partners, correctional partners, universities, higher education, and employer groups across the footprint of PursueCare.

Responsibilities

Engage and build relationships with all current and potential prospects in the defined territory
Raise awareness and educate prospects about PursueCare
Prospecting, qualifying, and presenting PursueCare to potential clients as needed
Identify and develop a pipeline of opportunities in the defined territory (inside sales, email, cold call)
Learning how to communicate the benefits of PursueCare with value-driven presentations
Being a self-starter, team player, and strong achiever
Being accountable, reliable, and honest
Always driving to make things better
Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support
Qualifying leads from digital campaigns, conferences, references, tradeshows, etc.
Creating and maintaining our CRM of prospect clients
Answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions
Working with the sales team throughout the sales cycle
Tracking daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics
Maintaining database (CRM, Excel, etc.) of prospective client information
Other duties as required

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree preferred, or relevant experience
2+ years in healthcare-related sales, partnerships, or business development.
Comfortable making cold calls and talking to new people all day
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect, and interact with potential customers
Persuasive and goal-oriented
Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor
Eager to expand the company with new sales, clients, and territories
Self-motivated and self-directed
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
In-depth understanding of PursueCare services and its position in the industry
Tenacity to handle possible objections and continue with a positive attitude when reaching the next potential client
Previous experience in an outbound call center, inside sales experience, or related sales experience preferred
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM experience preferred
Outstanding external and internal stakeholder engagement, communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills
Prior experience in the substance use disorder treatment field preferred
Proven track report of meeting and exceeding sales goals
Results-oriented, resourceful problem-solver, comfortable working in a high-growth, fast-paced, and demanding sales environment
