Job Summary
We are seeking a full-time Credentialing & Payor Enrollment Specialist to manage all aspects of provider credentialing and payor enrollment at Brave Health. Reporting to the Director of Payor Enrollment, this role is essential to clinical onboarding, re-credentialing, and maintaining accurate provider data across databases and online systems. The ideal candidate will identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and scalability in a fast-growing environment. This is a remote position, open to candidates nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider data, demonstrating professionalism and persistence when working with providers and health plans.
- Manage credentialing documentation, including primary source verification for initial and re-credentialing.
- Collaborate with HR to ensure new providers submit required documentation and are credentialed before their start date.
- Research and stay informed on new credentialing requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors as needed to support credentialing efforts.
- Serve as a resource for new hires, addressing credentialing-related questions.
- Oversee credentialing databases and reports for active and former providers.
- Adapt to growth and change by implementing process and tool improvements as the organization scales.
- Complete cross-training in licensing across various states to support team needs as Brave grows.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of credentialing experience required; leadership experience or driving key change initiatives is a plus.
- NAMSS certification (CPMSM or CPCS) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of NCQA, URAC, and credentialing regulations at all levels.
- Proficiency in CAQH and PECOS management required.
- Familiar with various state Medicaid enrollment processes.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare or Business Administration preferred.
- Remote work experience is strongly preferred.

- Salary ranges between $60,000-$64,000 depending on level of experience
