About the Role
Lyra Health is looking for a Texas-Central Regional Director - Consulting Relations to
strategically develop and maintain relationships with benefits consulting and brokerage firms. As
part of a mission centric organization, this role serves as a leader focused on generating,
qualifying and nurturing relationships with benefit consulting firms. Ultimately, you will help drive
growth as an integral part of a team, bringing life-changing mental health to millions of
members.
**Role requires that you live in the territory - Texas, Colorado, Oklahoma, Kansas, Iowa, Arkansas. Louisiana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, New Mexico, Wyoming
Responsibilities:
- Strategic development and growth of Lyra’s relationship with benefit consulting and brokerage firms
- Develop and nurture key relationships at benefit consulting firms, across a matrix of roles and areas of expertise
- Expand the depth and breadth of Lyra’s interaction within consulting community, driving revenue growth
- Acts as the face of Lyra within the consulting community, proactively addressing needs and identifying and developing new opportunities from benefit consultants
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including marketing, events, business development, product, client success, legal, etc. to deliver on Go-To-Market goals
- Host or support various educational meetings, capabilities presentations, and networking events as needed
- Maintain a high level of comprehension of the market as well as competitive intelligence including, employer benefit consultant/broker needs, market trends, industry challenges, major players, relevant products and technologies
Qualifications:
- 8+ years experience specifically in the employee benefits industry as a benefits consultant/broker or related vendor role
- Deep and strong industry relationships and network of consultants and brokers
- Strong project management skills, with an ability and desire to be effective within a fast-paced, fluid environment often with competing priorities
- Strong interpersonal, relationship-building and listening skills, with a natural consultative style
- The ability to collaborate, communicate and build rapport at all levels within the organization
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience advising, presenting to and persuading senior corporate personnel
- Enthusiasm for working collaboratively with highly-talented professionals
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently (30%+)
As a full-time Regional Director you will be employed by Lyra Health, Inc. The anticipated annual base salary rate for this full-time position is $170,000. The base rate is determined by role and level, and placement within the range will depend on a number of job-related factors, including but not limited to your skills, qualifications, experience and location.
At Lyra, base salary is only one aspect of an employee’s total compensation package, which additionally may include discretionary restricted stock unit awards, comprehensive medical and dental coverage, and retirement benefits. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
