About the Role
InStride Health is embarking on an exciting period of rapid growth across our care team as we launch to new markets. We are looking for a Clinical Recruiter who will play an integral role in InStride’s success. Partnering closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager & clinical leaders, you will support with full-cycle clinician recruiting efforts to help grow our team of Coaches, Therapists, and Psychiatrists, and support top-of-funnel recruiting processes.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify, source, and recruit clinical candidates (Coaches, Therapists, Psychiatrists, and clinical support roles) to meet hiring needs across all stages of the recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a consistent pipeline of high-quality talent.
- Guide candidates through every step of InStride’s recruiting process, from initial outreach to offer acceptance, while building and maintaining strong relationships to create an engaged network of clinicians.
- Collaborate closely with clinical leaders to define ideal candidate profiles, tailor outreach strategies, and ensure alignment on hiring goals.
- Design and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract top clinical talent.
- Develop, test, and refine outreach campaigns to nurture potential candidates, ensuring ongoing engagement for future hiring needs.
- Support and strengthen external talent partnerships, including universities, fellowship programs, talent networks, and professional organizations, to expand candidate pools.
- Analyze market trends, candidate feedback, and sourcing data to provide actionable insights to the recruiting team and clinical leadership.
- Deliver regular updates and reports on critical roles, candidate pipelines, and sourcing activities to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
- Maintain meticulous candidate records and progress notes in Greenhouse to ensure data accuracy and collaboration with other talent team members.
- Support additional recruiting and people operations initiatives, contributing to the broader success of the team.
What You Need to Succeed in the Role:
- 1-2 years of experience in recruiting, ideally within clinical, healthcare, or related fields, with demonstrated involvement in the full recruitment lifecycle (sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management)
- Proven aptitude for creativity, you must be able to identify new ways to source candidates and identify key clinical networks to broaden the applicant pool in a highly competitive market
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with multiple areas in an organization and build strong relationships with hiring managers
- Strong ability to assess candidate qualifications, cultural fit, and alignment with role requirements through initial screens and in-depth behavioral interviews
- Ability to drive a thoughtful candidate experience
- Understanding of the mental health talent landscape (licenses, different providers, etc.), or willingness to learn
- Data-driven and comfortable with managing a high volume talent acquisition pipeline
- Strong project management skills, with a demonstrable ability to be detail oriented in a fast-paced, fluid environment
