Lyra South Africa Services is looking to appoint a permanent EAP consulting clinician to provide counselling and support services to our international clients based throughout the globe. The primary objective of this role will be to provide short term telephonic and chat counselling to service users and ensure that the most effective and professional care is provided to the EAP users.
Included in the role is supporting case management and project management.
The primary role of this position is to provide high quality and professional counselling and information support services to employees and dependents of client companies.
The job holder will be based at home and would therefore require their own internet connectivity as well as office environment and back-up power.
The role is a permanent five (5) day a week role. The successful candidate will be expected to work from 8am to 5 pm. After hours supervision work is also required and will be 1 week every 5-6 weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide the first point of contact for employees accessing the LYRA service, via telephone counselling or live chat.
- To provide all the services to which the caller is entitled in a professional and respectful manner and to standards agreed with the Clinical Lead.
- To accurately capture all information on the database pertinent to the clinical management of the case.
- When required, to case manage clinical cases to ensure that structured counselling is provided by the LYRA affiliate network.
- To adhere to all clinical protocols, standards, and procedures as laid out by the Clinical Lead.
- To adhere to the operational standards as set out by Clinical Lead.
- To provide critical incident intake, support, and case management.
- Be able to deliver structure counselling services via telephonic or video chat means.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Master’s Qualification as a Psychologist or Social Worker or Advanced Counselling Qualification as a recognized Institution.
- Registration with the HPCSA, SASCCP or related clinical body
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years working experience
- Must be able to provide counselling within a short-term framework
- Preference will be given to candidates that have a background and working experience in the EAP field.
