Lyra Health is a rapidly growing global employee assistance program (EAP) provider. We help organizations promote health and well-being to their employees while at the same time improving productivity and reducing absence.
Reporting to the Regional Manager for Asia, the Country Manager of Singapore will be responsible for managing business and clinical operations, driving sales, developing and maintaining client relationships, and identifying opportunities for diversification and growth within Singapore.
Key Responsibilities:
- 1. Strategic and Financial Management & Reporting
- Develop and implement strategies to meet financial and performance objectives, including revenue growth, clinical cost control, and financial compliance.
- Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile month-end accounts and resolve accounting queries.
- Track and report on business performance, market trends, and key metrics using data-driven insights to optimize strategies and support continuous improvement, specifically reporting against internal Commercial, Clinical and Leadership scorecards
2. Market Growth, Sales, and Customer Success
- Drive local market organic growth by identifying opportunities, managing pipeline development and conversion, and mitigating local risks (e.g., competition, pricing constraints).
- Collaborate with global and regional Lyra business development teams to support local, regional, and global sales initiatives.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including pricing negotiations, contract development, and successful delivery of sales targets.
- Maintain strong client satisfaction and retention through effective service delivery and strategic relationship management.
- Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for senior leadership on sales outcomes, business impact, and market developments.
- Support regional expansion, positioning Singapore as a center of excellence within the Asia region.
3. Operational and Clinical Integration
- Facilitate the adoption and effective use of Lyra’s digital platforms and tools within Singapore to improve operational efficiency and client engagement.
- Oversee the integration of clinical products, systems, and reporting processes to meet defined milestones, including team alignment, data integration, and user satisfaction.
- Own the delivery of global service operational requirements and address any significant local operational challenges.
4. Leadership and Team Development
- Lead, support, and develop local teams, promoting a collaborative and high-performance culture aligned with Lyra’s core values: performance, culture, judgment, commitment, decision-making, and trust.
- Regularly report on team performance, development, and resourcing needs to the Regional Manager for Asia.
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet business demands and maintain service quality.
5. Compliance and Governance
- Collaborate with the compliance team to monitor adherence to policies and procedures, and escalate key compliance issues as necessary.
- Oversee internal audits, training, and risk management practices in line with Lyra’s global standards.
Skillset and Experience
- Strong financial awareness and delivery of profit and operating efficiency.
- Demonstrable experience in implementing growth strategies and identifying growth opportunities.
- Demonstrable experience in operations, sales management and delivery.
- Strong communication skills and a track record of working supportively and collaboratively to achieve results, including effective communication with regional leadership.
- Exceptional negotiation, influencing, and motivational skills.
- Culturally aware in working with internal and external stakeholders across the region/globe, with specific sensitivity to the nuances of the Asian market.
- Capacity to manage high-stress situations and to drive to a decision.
- Experience of at least 5 years working in a similar role is desirable.
- Experience of working with an EAP provider is an advantage.
- Experience in the integration of consulting or professional services businesses and able to understand how to drive and protect value in these contexts is required.
- Experience working within a regional structure and reporting to regional leadership.
