About the Role
The Vice President, Clinical Excellence will be a strategic innovator and thought partner responsible for elevating Equip’s clinical impact. This leader will be accountable for clinical research & outcomes, driving continuous advancement of clinical performance, and amplifying Equip’s reputation as a scientific and clinical leader in the behavioral health space.
Responsibilities
Develop a comprehensive strategy and roadmap for research, academic collaborations, and clinical outcomes that uphold and expand on Equip’s dedication to clinical excellence.
Elevate Equip’s scientific brand by contributing to thought leadership, evidence generation, and presence in the academic and clinical communities.
Define and execute Equip’s research roadmap, including publication goals, topic prioritization, and collaboration strategy.
Serve as a trusted spokesperson and visible leader within the field of eating disorders and behavioral health outcomes.
Establish a consistent cadence and strategic approach to publishing peer-reviewed studies, case series, and white papers.
Create and lead Equip’s Scientific Advisory Board, establish collaborations with academic research partners, and ensure an external feedback loop in an effort to consistently advance our outcomes.
Lead Equip’s external clinical outcomes strategy, ensuring we are positioned as best-in-class to payors, partners, and thought leaders.
Serve as the internal and external authority on all dimensions of patient outcomes.
Oversee comprehensive data collection, analysis, and reporting for clinical performance.
Proactively identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities in outcomes across populations, care teams, and modalities.
Provide insight for the Marketing team to create high-quality, compelling materials that clearly articulate our impact.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
PhD/PsyD in clinical psychology or related fields.
12+ years of experience researching and evaluating behavioral health outcomes in the eating disorder field.
People management experience with demonstrated ability to effectively lead teams to execute with demonstrated commitment to meeting, or exceeding, metrics in a fast-paced environment.
Proven track record of success in developing and implementing strategies in a similar leadership role.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for communicating and gaining buy-in as well as cultivating and maintaining relationships.
Experience leading teams and mentoring clinicians with a strategic and relational approach.
Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with humility, inclusiveness, and open-mindedness to other perspectives. Demonstrated ability to solicit input on topics and balance those perspectives.

Physical Demands
Work is performed 100% from home with regular travel required (up to 25%). This is a stationary position that requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards as well as to talk or hear by telephone. Sit or stand as needed.
