Provider Activation Specialist - New York

The team has built and shipped the first-ever health equity platform and is already serving numerous health plan and care delivery customers, including United Healthcare, Meridian, One Medical, UCare and more.
Who you are
We’re looking for a Provider Activation Specialist to support Violet in onboarding and engaging our customers and their network of providers.
As Provider Activation Specialist, you’ll be at the frontlines of Violet’s mission: ensuring that we maximize Provider Activation + Engagement. You’ll work directly with our Care Delivery and Health Plan customers to activate their teams + networks — building and executing our outreach strategy to providers and provider organizations to drive provider activation. You will be responsible for not only developing our activation strategy, but executing it - including calls, emails, marketing and text campaigns.
Additionally, the Provider Activation Specialist will help support Provider Engagement once Providers are on the platform.
This is a cross-functional, client-facing role that blends communication, strategic thinking, and operational execution. You will work directly with clients to partner on activation timelines and roadmaps and our Violet’s Marketing and Product teams to ensure Violet continues to build enhancements that support our provider goals.
Lastly, this role will require some technical expertise. The Provider Activation specialist should have experience with Hubspot. They should also know how to build, manage, and track outbound activation campaigns. This role will also require some data analysis - including analyzing large excel roster files and building dashboards (in excel, posthog, etc.) to track success.
You’re a champion for the customer and enjoy building scalable systems and processes to ensure that we provide proactive support which exceeds customer expectations. You’re highly analytical - with both quantitative and qualitative data. You’re technically minded and able to quickly learn and manage new systems and technologies including HubSpot and our internal admin tools.
Knowledge of the healthcare industry is preferred. After all, we’re working to fix the existing broken system.
Responsibilities
Provider Activation & Onboarding
- Own the provider onboarding strategy for and funnel for Violet.
- Execute the strategy.
- Run provider call and text campaigns
- Build and launch email and marketing campaigns
- Partner with customers to leverage internal communication teams
- Manage provider roster files from clients and work to maximize onboarding percentage.
- Track conversion metrics and be accountable for provider activation goals (e.g., % onboarded per customer).
Strategy & Optimization
- Develop and refine onboarding strategies in partnership with Ops, Product, and Marketing.
- Provide feedback on onboarding collateral and flows; collaborate on improving provider activation rates.
- Influence product and collateral development based on real-world provider feedback.
Provider Engagement & Retention
- Design and support ongoing engagement strategies to keep providers and provider orgs active on Violet.
- Identify reasons for drop-off or disengagement and proactively implement solutions.
- Help shape communication cadences and feedback loops with providers and their organizations.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 4+ years of relevant experience in activation type roles, ideally in an enterprise B2B SaaS environment. Experience working directly with Health Plans is a bonus.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and able to comfortably manage relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Obsessed with process improvement, building scalable solutions to problems, and thoroughly documenting as you go.
- A team player who is able to adapt to changing demands from customers and an evolving role as Violet grows.
- Comfortable switching between deeply focussed work and customer priorities.
- Technical expertise including:
- Highly analytical with an ability to synthesize data from a variety of sources and create dashboards for tracking key metrics.
- Skilled in Excel/Google Sheets and able to quickly learn new data analytics tools.
- Confident in managing complex technology including our CRM. Ideally with some previous experience administering HubSpot or another CRM system.
