About the Role
The Clinical Supervisor, Family-Based Treatment (FBT) role will be an experienced therapy supervisor and licensed mental health clinician responsible for clinical supervision of therapists delivering FBT at Equip. The Clinical Supervisor will join the Clinical Training Team and report to the Senior Manager of Clinical Training. As a clinical supervisor, you will collaborate with Clinical Training & Supervision team leadership, Clinical Instructors, and Care Delivery Leaders. You will be responsible for clinical supervision of therapists in the delivery of FBT to ensure that treatment is being delivered to fidelity. Utilization of videos, fidelity ratings, and clinical performance evaluations will support the supervision.
For this position, we are specifically seeking a candidate with demonstrated proficiency in the supervision and delivery of FBT for eating disorders, including its application to diagnoses outside of anorexia nervosa. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who has advanced training in the delivery and supervision of FBT, experience supervising therapists in the field of eating disorders, and values the implementation of evidence-based treatments for eating disorders.
Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Senior Manager of Clinical Training, provide clinical supervision for therapists delivering FBT for eating disorders
Review FBT therapy session recordings and complete treatment fidelity ratings
Review FBT therapy session videos and deliver live feedback to therapists
Complete administrative tasks related to the scheduling and organization of Equip clinical supervision and evaluation of Equip therapists
Collaborate with Clinical Instructors, Clinical Programs leaders, and Care Delivery leaders in the identification of clinical supervision needs and delivery of effective supervision at Equip
Attend regular virtual meetings ranging from 1 to 1 and small-team meetings to company wide forums
Provide regular reports and updates to the Sr. Manager of Therapy Training and Supervision
Complete additional administrative tasks
Qualifications
Minimum of a Master’s degree in a clinical mental health field
Licensed in a clinical mental health field (PhD, PsyD, LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, etc.)
Minimum of 2 years of clinical supervision experience in FBT
Demonstrated completion of advanced training in clinical supervision (e.g., including supervision courses or trainings, receiving supervision for clinical supervision)
Demonstrated completion of formal training in Family-Based Treatment (FBT)
Minimum of 4 years experience providing FBT for pediatric and young adult patients with eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, and avoidant restrictive/food intake disorder
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experienced in use of Google suite (e.g., Sheets, Docs, Gmail)
Organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven
Motivated by cross-functional collaboration
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, subject to rapid change and innovation
Preferred
PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology
Certification in Family-Based Treatment for Eating Disorders
Experience training, supervising, and delivery of other evidence-based treatments for eating disorders including Enhanced Cognitive-Behavior Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder, and Adolescent Focused Therapy
Experience with FBT fidelity ratings
Passion for mental health and eating disorder treatment and expanding access to treatment through insurance
