The Opportunity:
As an Analytics Engineer at Grow Therapy, you’ll build the data foundation that powers key decisions across product, operations, and strategy. Along the way, you’ll gain deep exposure to the inner workings of a fast-growing healthcare marketplace, master advanced tools in modern data engineering and analytics, and help evolve our data culture from infrastructure to impact.
It’s a rare opportunity to join a mission-driven company at the inflection point of scale, where your technical craft directly improves access to mental health care nationwide.
What You'll Be Doing:
- You will ensure every team can leverage trusted, actionable insights to better serve providers and clients. You’ll take ownership of our data stack from ingestion through modeling in dbt to build efficient, robust data pipelines.
- You’ll collaborate daily with Analysts, Data Scientists, and Machine Learning Engineers, as well as stakeholders from Product and Engineering to make sure that the models we build drive value for the business.
You'll Be a Good Fit if:
- 3-5 years of Analytics Engineering / Data Engineering experience building products, ideally in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
- Excel at writing complex SQL pipelines and working within a modern data stack (Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, Prefect, Looker/LookML)
- Possess strong foundations in Python, data modeling and system design
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, and can work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
- Comfort with ambiguity - You thrive in dynamic environments and are skilled at turning loosely defined problems into clear technical direction.
Bonus Points:
- Hands-on experience working with stakeholders to prioritize, define, own, and implement metric definitions
- Experience implementing a semantic/metrics layer for analysts, data scientists, and machine learning engineers to use
- Hands-on experience building impactful dashboards and reports using Hex, Looker, or other data visualization products.
Engineering Team Principles:
- You own what you build. You will feel ownership of the code you write, articulate the importance of the feature, and follow up to ensure it's successful.
- We build solutions for our providers and clients. We write code to solve user problems, not just for the sake of solving technical problems.
- You are not part of the tech team, but rather part of the team itself! Grow is a tech-enabled business and not a pure software business, so understanding how the business works is integral to your job.
