Job Overview

- Job Type: Full-time
- Expected hours: 40 per week
- Physical setting: Call Center
- Schedule: 8 hour shift
- Work Location: In person (Victor, MT)

Key duties include:
- Read and interpret physician's medication orders
- Data entry, insurance adjudication, trouble shoot Prior Authorizations and other insurance rejections.
- Answer phone calls from patients, prescribers and provide customer service.
- Aid in filling, processing, and dispensing medications
- Re-package and label medications
- Adhere to safety practices in order to ensure quality care for patients
- Help maintain the drug inventory through inventory control practices
- Provide customer service by answering phone calls and emails in a prompt and courteous manner
- Triage requests and prioritize them
Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Current pharmacy technician registration/certification (preferred but willing to train)
- Pharmacy technician licensure in the state of Montana
- Basic mathematics skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure
- Effective computer and keyboarding skills
- Working knowledge of pharmacy information systems
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong prioritization skills and an ability to make decisions independently and effectively
- Familiarity with pharmacy practice settings, legal requirements and limitations, prescription information and calculations, drug identification and generic equivalents, drug manufacturing, packaging and labeling information, and proper drug handling and storage practices (preferred)
