About the Role
Lyra Health is looking for an Sr. People Programs Specialist to help bridge the gap between HR and the organization, aligning HR initiatives with company goals and objectives to drive continuous improvement and deliver value to Lyra and its employees.Tactically, this role provides program management, end-to-end thinking, operational solutions, governance, as well as cross-functional project management that has an HR component. This person manages, measures for efficiency, and enhances operational tools and processes used by the People Team.
The role will collaborate closely with leadership, and project leads from People Operations, Talent Development, Total Rewards, Diversity Equity Inclusion and Belonging, and Recruiting to ensure the People Team’s delivery on business-critical projects that ultimately serve Lyra’s mission, company values, DEIB principles, goals, and company growth. This role will require a blend of communications expertise, project management, insights-driven ideation, and cross-functional collaboration, providing mentorship to various team members on certain projects as needed.
Responsibilities
- Steer People Leadership team toward strong, strategic priorities with a roadmap, project plans, progress check-ins, etc.
- Independently gathers information to analyze, interpret, and summarize meaningful insights to the People Org. leadership team
- Conduct QBRs for People leadership team by delivering engaging, informative and well-organized presentations to support project objectives and outcomes
- Oversee and maintain the budget in partnership with finance, with a quarterly update meeting with the People leads
- Collect internal data to track trends in functional areas: Bench-strength changes, key new hires, and departures. Evident trends from confidential performance issues and separations. Organizational changes occurring from over the quarter, transfers, and management changes. Progress towards shared goals and key projects for the quarter. Potential challenges or issues, outline plans for the future and how goals will be met in the next quarter
- Conduct consistent roadmap calibration meetings
- Collaborate with teams to improve processes and implement efficient programs
- Create strategy and standardization across project roadmaps, process documents, project documentation, and milestones to ensure successful completion of projects within the timeframe agreed upon
- Assist with all aspects of projects from business case approval through validation of success metrics and create measures to ensure project outcomes are successful and meet expectations
- Drive People Team communications that drive alignment, engagement, inspiration, recognition, etc.
- Lead cross-functional teams and facilitate working sessions to develop comprehensive project plans and charters, including scope, objectives, deliverables, success criteria, risk assessment, schedule, budget, and resource management
- Facilitate monthly People team gatherings and plan annual People Team On-site, as well as other engagement activities and/or celebrations across the People team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in program management and/or experience managing critical people programs like Performance Management, Leadership/Rotational Programs etc.
- Demonstrated experience in at least 3 of the following: project management, stakeholder management, change management, analytics, strategic communications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with good judgment based on situation and audience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to synthesize data trends into presentable formats to influence decision
- Proven commitment and passion for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) work and experience integrating a DEIB perspective into strategic initiatives
Pay and Benefits
The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time Senior People Programs Specialist position is $85,000 - $130,000. The base range is determined by role and level, and placement within the range will depend on a number of job-related factors, including but not limited to your skills, qualifications, experience and location.
At Lyra, base salary is only one aspect of an employee’s total compensation package, which additionally may include discretionary restricted stock unit awards, comprehensive medical and dental coverage, and retirement benefits. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
