Role Overview
Lyra Health is recruiting a Learning & Development, Marketing (L&DM) Manager to planning, coordinating, and implementing training and development programs to our corporate clients for Lyra MENA. This role involves identifying training needs, designing curriculum, and ensuring the effective delivery of training sessions. The Learning & Development, Marketing Manager will work closely with department heads and other stakeholders to align training programs with organizational and client goals. The primary focus of the role is Learning &Development with some local marketing management.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with MENA team and clients to assess training needs
- Conduct surveys, interviews, and consultations to identify skill gaps and areas for development
- Design, develop, and update training materials, including manuals, e-learning modules, and workshops
- Customize training content to meet the specific needs of different clients
- Manage, enhance and continue to develop Lyra MENA L&D catalogue
- Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions, ensuring engagement and knowledge retention
- Coordinate with external trainers and vendors when necessary
- Assess the effectiveness of training programs through surveys, assessments, and feedback from participants
- Make recommendations for improvements based on evaluation results
- Assist in the creation and management of employee development plans, including leadership development and succession planning
- Encourage continuous learning and professional development within the organization
- Maintain accurate records of all training activities and participants
- Prepare reports on training outcomes, participation, and effectiveness for client review
- Assist in managing the L&D budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources
- Source and negotiate with training providers to optimize budget spending
- Ensure that all training programs comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in learning and development
- Manage and support the local marketing needs of Lyra MENA
- Engage with 3rd party providers
- Stay informed about local industry trends and marketplace activity
- Design marketing campaigns
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Learning & Development or a similar role essential
- General marketing knowledge and understanding to support local marketing requirements
- Experience of working in the Middle East region essential
- Experience of working internationally a distinct advantage
- Solid experience in working with data and programme reporting excellent English speaking and writing abilities essential
- Certification in training or instructional design (e.g., CPLP, CPTM) preferable but not essential
- Proficiency in Google systems and familiarity with agile learning methods and tools EAP/Wellbeing experience is essential
- Thorough knowledge and thorough understanding of both corporate and individual wellbeing
- Strong project managements skills to deal with complex projects under time pressure
- Excellent presentation and administrative skills
- Excellent telephone manner and computer literate
- Professional and quality orientated approach to work
- Consistent achievement of annual sales revenue targets
- Ability to develop and sustain mature working relationships
- Ability to effectively negotiate between different parties to achieve the best possible outcomes for the business
- Aware of impact of own actions on workload of others and the business (self responsibility)
- Ability to function effectively under pressure
- Ability to do multi-tasking in terms of set standards
- Team player and pro-active input into all team meetings
