We are looking for a leader in the channel space (Vice President, Channel Partnerships) to join our Business Development Sales team. Your role would come to life through channel partnership strategy, execution, and overall management of partner relationships. The ideal candidate has Benefit Consultant sales experience and is an expert at building deep relationships with various channel partners (e.g. Brokers, Benefit Consultants, Health Plan Clinical and Wellness Leadership, Digital Health Channel Resellers, HCMs, TPAs).
*This is a remote position that requires living in an Eastern Time Zone or Central Time Zone. Talkspace Headquarters is located in NYC.*
What You’ll Do
- Strategy, relationship management, education, and ongoing development of alignment with boutique and regional consultants as well as large consulting practices of WTW, Aon, Mercer, Lockton, and Gallagher in the US
- Ensure that our partners receive the highest level of sales and operational excellence
- Introduce the Talkspace for Work solution to channel partners across the board
- Negotiate and manage execution of channel partnership agreements (e.g. Benefit Consultants, Health Plan Clinical and Wellness Leadership, digital health channel resellers)
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Account Management and Product teams to ensure a seamless experiences
- Develop and implement best practices for client interaction and sales
- Work closely with reseller partners to develop tailored solutions, ensuring alignment with Talkspace’s services and target audience
- Cultivate strong relationships with prospective partners, positioning Talkspace’s services as a valuable addition to their portfolio
About You
- Experience in complex channel partnerships and/or B2B healthcare market (required, 5-7+ years preferred)
- Experience around business development of strategic alliance development for complex, multi-stakeholder solutions (required)
- Experience selling to HR (required)
- Willingness (and desire) to travel (required)
- Strong networking skills, experience attending events and conducting cold-lead calls (required)
- Experience with SaaS, health & welfare benefits, healthcare capital equipment, healthcare IT, health and welfare benefits outsourcing, human resources IT benefits software (preferred)
- Essential Skills: Salesforce, business communication (preferred)
- Quantitative and qualitative analysis skills, and are well versed in healthcare spend analysis metrics such as ROI, VOI, TCO, etc. (preferred)
- Experience reaching and exceeding sales goals in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment (preferred)
- Experience in working in a fast-paced startup environment (preferred)

Compensation
At Talkspace, we believe that pay transparency during the interview process is a critical part of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our salary bands are based on internal and external compensation benchmarks, which we regularly evaluate to ensure we pay competitively.
The base salary range for this role is between $175,000 and $190,000 per year. Within the salary bands, leveling corresponds to each candidate’s relevant experience, skills as assessed during the interview process, education, and applicable certifications.
