About The Role
In this strategic role, you will lead efforts to drive new business opportunities and expand Charlie Health’s presence within the Veterans Affairs sector. As a key member of the team, you’ll develop and execute a targeted sales strategy to identify and secure partnerships with key stakeholders, including military leadership, healthcare providers, and veterans’ organizations. You will not only be responsible for generating new business but also for leading and mentoring a high-performing team to execute this vision effectively.

Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate partnership strategy opportunities within the Veterans Affairs sector
- Conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and assess competitive landscapes to identify strategic opportunities with potential partners
- Develop and execute a comprehensive prospecting strategy to generate new business opportunities through targeted channels including cold outreach, referrals, email campaigns, and networking events
- Cultivate a deep understanding of the products and capabilities of both Charlie Health and potential partners to identify opportunities to create mutual value for both parties
- Project manage the partnership funnel including scoping, contracting, and program design
- Partner with internal teams to ensure partnerships are properly implemented and processes / operations are set up to drive a successful partnership
- Serve as the primary point of contact between Charlie Health and partner organizations, ensuring ongoing needs are met and maintaining a client-centric focus
- Utilize CRM tools such as Salesforce to accurately track partnership activities, communication, and market data
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of partnership initiatives. Track and analyze performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of partnerships and identify areas for optimization and improvement
- Represent Charlie Health at industry conferences, trade shows, and relevant events to enhance visibility and network with potential partners
- Act as the in-house expert on relevant markets, providing insights and guidance to internal teams as needed
Requirements
- 10+ years of business development experience, 5+ years of experience with selling into the Veterans Affairs sector
- Expert in advising, presenting to, and persuading senior corporate personnel
- Demonstrated track record of top-tier performance in the development, maintenance, and growth of customer accounts in a B2B setting
- Experience measuring, analyzing, and being accountable to well-defined sales metrics/KPIs
- Exceptional interpersonal, relationship-building, and listening skills, with a natural, consultative style
- Ability to energize, communicate, and build rapport at all levels within an organization
- Willingness to travel as required to establish and maintain business relationships
- Strong project management skills, with a demonstrable ability to corral and manage details in a fast-paced, fluid environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, CRM (Salesforce preferred), scheduling, and video conferencing technologies
- Work authorized in the United States and native or bilingual English proficiency

Additional Information
The total target base compensation for this role will be between $114,000 and $150,000 per year at the commencement of employment. The target total cash compensation range, including potential bonus, will be between $143,000 and $188,000 per year. Please note, pay will be determined on an individualized basis and will be impacted by location, experience, expertise, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. Further, cash compensation is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may include stock options and other Charlie Health-sponsored benefits.
