We are seeking a dynamic Sr. Director, Data and Impact Analytics to join our organization. This role will be helpful in using statistical analysis to identify and define populations to which effective population health programs may be applied.
WHAT IS YOUR SUPERPOWER?
- Develop, define and conduct evaluations with statistical analyses of population health programs and medical economics. Through these evaluations, measure and report on impact, ROI and other outcomes of interest to the company.
- Identify and define populations to which effective population health programs may be applied. Evaluate the health and cost impacts of these programs in additional populations as indicated.
- Help define analytics methods, algorithms, criteria for risk stratification to allow appropriate and equitable targeting of population health programs to populations that may benefit.
- Support the development of processes for forecasting of medical costs and investigating utilization trends
- Define and manage the specifications for outcome measures for the company, including the quadruple aim measures, health equity, operations, and population health. These measures and population definitions should be consistent across the company.
- Define measures and populations that will be reported in company dashboards. Ensure that the reports are accurate.
- Set priorities, drive strategy, and problem solve to ensure robust reporting and analytics
- Measures include clinical, quality, cost, and operational outcomes
- Data include health care claims, EHR, person-reported data and other public sources for patient populations
- Audiences include internal and external business partners
- Disseminate findings to stakeholders in oral and written format
- Collaborate across the Author Health organization including:
- An interdisciplinary team of engineers and informatics specialists across the Author Health organization to help build a population health platform informed by advanced analytics
- Clinical, medical risk, financial, business operations and the broader executive team focused on performance
- Other duties related to Senior Director of Data and Impact Analytics as defined by the Company
WHAT WE ARE SEEKING:
- Bachelor's Degree in Medical Economics, Statistics, Public Health or other relevant field; Master's Degree is preferred
- At least 3 years experience in health care and with medical risk-bearing entities (i.e. ACOs and other full risk provider groups or insurance).
- Experience with analyses using health insurance claims and electronic health record data.
- Experience presenting datasets and business insights to internal and external stakeholders.
