Lyra are recruiting an International Senior Recruiter role to lead aspects of the global recruitment activity for Lyra International and assist with the broader recruitment strategy. Reporting to the Recruitment Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the company’s period of growth and change and be a role model for the expected behaviours and attitudes. As Senior Recruiter you will lead on all operational activities completing the full recruitment life cycle from start to finish. You will also play a key role in ongoing projects and help drive the wider recruitment strategic goals.
We are looking for someone highly organised with a strong scope for attention to detail whilst bringing a creative and innovative approach to recruitment activity. A proactive approach is essential, along with excellent communication and administration skills. This position will be based in South Africa and is fully remote working. Meetings will be held in person as required from time to time.
Key Responsibilities
- Working with the Recruitment Manager to implement bespoke talent attraction strategies across both high volume and specialist roles in 19 geographical areas.
- Understanding current and future business needs to ensure a pro-active approach towards demand.
- Engage with active and passive candidates, remaining up to date with market insights and maintaining a strong talent pipeline.
- Utilising various attraction tools such as job boards, social media, websites, CV searching and events to attract internal and external applicants.
- Working in conjunction with the People Team colleagues to improve diversity and ensure a fair, inclusive, and transparent approach to attraction and selection.
- Acting as an employer brand ambassador for Lyra by delivering a first-class candidate experience at all stages of the recruitment process.
- Supporting the Recruitment Manager to build knowledge of the competitor market, identifying, and engaging with exceptional talent in the marketplace and developing relationships within the industry to ensure awareness of competitor trends/conditions of service/benefits/salaries to ensure that Lyra always remains competitive.
- Pro-actively assisting to source talent for a selection of vacancies using a range of channels (Linked In, CV databases, Networking, Universities, agencies, etc.) building the pipeline with a focus on direct recruitment in line with the recruitment strategy and reducing agency spend.
- Update and/or build a comprehensive suite of recruitment and assessment tools and evolve as and when required.
- Work with L&D (Learning & Development) to support the delivery of relevant training courses for the business with the aim of strengthening the skill set of those involved in recruitment.
- Work with the HRIS team and support the implementation of the recruitment application in line with our processes in the different countries.
- To handle controlled data, always ensuring security in line with company policies and accreditations.
- Responsible for providing timely and accurate reporting for management information packs monthly and weekly.
- Provide support and facilitate (where appropriate) various projects and events throughout the year.
Qualifications
- Relevant HR/Business Administration/Recruitment qualification (or working towards) is desirable.
- Minimum of 2 years working in a similar role, in an international environment is essential
- Must have excellent IT literacy skills, particularly in Microsoft packages including Outlook, Excel, and Word and the full google stack.
- Previous experience of HR systems would be advantageous but not a necessity.
