About the Role
Lyra is looking for a highly motivated Sr. Strategic Finance & Corporate Development Associate to help us realize our mission of becoming the premier mental health solution for employers and employees. The role will be a key member of Lyra’s strategic finance team, reporting directly to the VP Finance.
This role can be carried out from our Burlingame, CA headquarters, hybrid, or fully remote/virtually. Remote candidates must be physically located within the United States.
Responsibilities
- Pricing strategy & operations: partner with Go-To-Market to set pricing for new sales & renewals globally, balancing profitability targets and market dynamics to make high-quality pricing decisions.
- Long-range strategy & planning:analyze financial and operational trends to inform Lyra’s 5-year strategy and department-level planning.
- New product development: partner with Go-To-Market and Ops teams to recommend pricing for new products & business lines that balances profitability & market dynamics.
- M&A strategy & execution: support deal execution, including financial modeling & valuation, business & financial due diligence, presenting recommendations to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- 3+ years work experience, with 2+ years of investment banking or private equity direct investing experience.
- Advanced financial modeling skills with the ability to distill complex decisions into simple but comprehensive financial models. Experience developing and justifying key assumptions, including distilling market dynamics and historical trends into forecasts.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize and balance multiple deliverables with competing timelines in a dynamic environment.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey recommendations and conclusions. Experience presenting thoughtful analysis and a compelling point of view directly to senior leadership.
- Ability to collect, organize and analyze complex data at a macro and micro level. Actively seeks the input and opinions of stakeholders; explores and considers a wide range of options before acting.
- Demonstrates strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as an ability to tackle ambiguous situations.
- Must be a proactive self-starter with exceptional follow-through and the ability to work well independently with minimal supervision.
As a full-time Sr. Strategic Finance & Corporate Development Associate, you will be employed by Lyra Health, Inc. The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $106,000 - $163,000. The base range is determined by role and level, and placement within the range will depend on a number of job-related factors, including but not limited to your skills, qualifications, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
