The Enterprise Strategy and Transformation Director is a senior leadership role responsible for driving strategic clarity, enterprise alignment, operational excellence, and innovation across Jefferson Center. This position leads enterprise-wide project management efforts, and champions technical training and transformation initiatives. This role will serve as a thought partner to the Executive Leadership Team, and as a key integrator across departments, ensuring that strategic priorities are translated into actionable plans and measurable outcomes. This is a hybrid position with remote and on site (Wheat Ridge, CO) duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning, Execution and Oversight
- Lead the development and refinement of the organization’s strategic plan, in collaboration with executive leadership, and stakeholders.
- Translate strategy into clear annual priorities, operational goals and aligned performance metrics.
- Ensure alignment between strategic goals and operational plans, fostering organizational awareness and accountability.
- Provide structure and support for new initiatives, including change management, risk mitigation, and organizational engagement.
Organizational Performance and Analytics
- Design and facilitate periodic strategy and operational reviews to assess program-level performance, identify challenges, and drive strategic improvements
- Guide Directors and Managers in interpreting key metrics, crafting narratives, and proposing solutions.
- Ensure follow-through on action items and maintain continuity across review cycles.
Project Management and Innovation
- Oversee enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, including transformation efforts, and innovation pilots
- Consolidate project management functions to streamline execution and reporting.
- Support cross-functional collaboration and interdependency mapping to promote “One Jefferson Center” thinking.
Technical Training and Capacity Building
- Develop and implement training programs to build technical and strategic competencies across leadership and staff.
- Partner with HR and department leads to identify skill gaps and deliver targeted learning solutions.
Leadership and Culture
- Model the behaviors and culture expected of senior leaders, fostering transparency, accountability, and solution-oriented dialogue.
- Serve as a strategic advisor for the Senior Leadership Team on enterprise transformation matters.
- Develop board-level materials, dashboards and presentations that communicate progress toward enterprise strategy and transformation goals and initiatives.
Internal Communications and Engagement
- Ensure all staff understand the enterprise strategy and transformation initiatives and how their work contributes to it
- Design and support communications plans and leadership messages that reinforce strategic priorities.
Qualifications:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Healthcare Management or Behavioral Health related field required.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Organizational Development, or related field preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 7 years of progressive leadership experience in strategy, transformation, project management or enterprise level operations.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in community behavioral health, healthcare, or a closely related industry.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving enterprise-wide initiatives.
Skills
- Expertise in strategic planning, performance measurement, and operational analysis.
- Strong facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with behavioral health systems, funding models, and regulatory environments.
- Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., PowerBI, NetSuite).

Salary Grade 18: $94,100 to $116,700*
*Jefferson Center pay is based on various factors including education level, licensure level, and years of relative experience.
