About the Role
Flourish is seeking an Associate Director, Clinical R&D to lead the design, scaling, and optimization of our clinical and care operations. In this role, you will own complex, cross-functional projects, translating clinical workflows into scalable, technology-supported processes. You will drive carepod launches, analyze key metrics to identify gaps and opportunities, and support change management through training and feedback.
Responsibilities
- Own complex, cross-functional projects, including leading clinical and care operations initiatives such as pilots, workflow redesigns, and long-term scalable product vision.
- Partner closely with product teams to inform tooling, workflow productization, and usability improvements.
- Track key metrics and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support change management by training teams, gathering feedback, and iterating on processes post-launch.
- Drive carepod launches, including onboarding staff, finalizing clinical schedules, and inputting data into systems.
- Provide direct care for a small caseload of 1–3 patients to remain immersed in the clinical model.
Role Requirements
- Licensed Mental Health Professional (PhD, LCSW, LPC) or equivalent clinical license eligible to provide patient care
- Willingness to obtain licensure in all 50 states.
- Professional with 8+ years of relevant experience, including:
- 5+ years of clinical operations experience
- Strong project management skills with end-to-end ownership.
- Ability to design scalable clinical workflows from ambiguous or unstructured processes.
- Experience balancing clinical judgment with operational efficiency.
- Comfort operating in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.

Salary: $95,000-$110,000
