About the role:
We are seeking a Payor Partnerships Senior Manager to support deepening, expanding, and innovating with strategic health plan partners. The Payor Partnerships Senior Manager serves as a trusted partner to health plan partners, reporting into the Director of Payor Partnerships and working x-functionally with internal teams to manage overall growth & success of our health plans as well as to identify areas of improvement/innovation in line with partner goals. The ideal candidate will be able to build strong relationships and lead contracting conversations with health plan executives. The Payor Partnerships Senior Manager will serve as the subject matter expert for their partners’ program delivery strategy, operational customizations, outcome metrics, program KPIs, analytical needs, program trends, and plan specific program goals.
Responsibilities
- Be accountable for long term management of health plan partnerships with key, large national health plan partners
- Own contract strategy & renewals to optimize partnership structure and success Serve as intermediary to fairly represent health plan interests and needs to Equip business (product feedback, operational design/support, member support, clinical care)
- Accountable for health plan satisfaction, deepening relationships, and & identifying expansion opportunities to new markets, states, and lines of business
- Produce and deliver high quality, actionable client meeting agendas, presentations and report content, leveraging data and insights to frame comprehensive Equip value proposition
- Ensure our health plan partners are well positioned for program success by executing a best in class implementation and account management strategy that achieves key program milestones and exceeds expectations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in roles of Account/Client Management, Customer Success, and/or Business Development within the Healthcare industry. Strong preference for Behavioral Health experience in working with Managed Care Organizations (MCOs).
- Proven record of growing a book of business sustainably and consistentlyExperience owning and managing multiple concurrent relationships with a diverse client base while navigating through ambiguity and shifting priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills, adept at building strong working relationships, understanding roles and responsibilities within complex organizations, and representing the needs of both the Equip team and Payor-Client
- Key analytical abilities to generate program KPIs and insights both for internal and external stakeholders with an eye towards operational excellence and superior value delivery
- Strong understanding of health care landscape, specifically payer and provider focused
