MoneyStack (Techstars ‘23) (https://www.moneystack.com) helps people recover from the financial devastation caused by gambling addiction. We partner with state governments to provide our financial counseling software and services to behavioral health clinics, mental health group practices, and other organizations. Working closely with treatment providers, our financial counselors assist clients in developing financial plans to overcome financial challenges (e.g., gambling debt), protect families, and support long-term recovery.
We also run GamFin (https://www.gamfin.org), an online financial education and support community for professionals working in the field of Gambling Addiction treatment.
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager who is passionate about behavioral health care technology and motivated to create innovative solutions that improve client outcomes and streamline clinical operations. As our Product Manager, you will set the direction for our software engineering team. Together, you will develop our technology platform, encompassing client intake, clinical experiences, data collection and analysis, and operational reporting. Since we are a core team of only 6 people, this role requires a hands-on approach and you will need to wear many hats to get stuff done.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Leadership: Own the product vision and strategy, collaborating closely with the company leadership team to define and prioritize the product roadmap.
- Technology Platform Development: Guide the end-to-end development of our platform, ensuring it meets the needs of clients and stakeholders in the behavioral health sector.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with engineering, design, sales, clinical, and financial counseling teams to ensure seamless product delivery and support.
- Rapid Prototyping: Build and test prototype solutions using low-code/no-code or rapid application development tools, gathering feedback to inform product decisions.
- Strategic Partner: Serve as a thought partner to our leadership team, influencing product direction and aligning technology initiatives with business goals.
- Customer Engagement: Interface with health care providers and other stakeholders to gather feedback, validate product ideas, and ensure our solutions exceed customer expectations.
- Startup Versatility: Participate in additional functions such as hiring, sales support, operations, and customer service as needed to drive company growth and success.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably in Behavioral Health or Healthcare technology.
- Prototyping Skills: Ability to create functional prototypes using low-code/no-code platforms or similar rapid development tools.
- Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to develop strategic roadmaps and make data-driven prioritization decisions.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders without direct managerial authority.
- Adaptability: Comfortable in a dynamic startup environment, ready to tackle challenges beyond the traditional Product Manager role.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with healthcare technologies, data analytics, and experience with agile software product development processes.
