About the Role
InStride Health is looking for a Coach Manager to help us grow and manage our team of dedicated coaches. As a Coach Manager, you will be responsible for recruiting, training, and managing a team of coaches who provide personalized support to our patients and families. You will work closely with our clinical leadership team and licensed therapists to ensure that our coaches are delivering high-quality care and meeting our patient and family needs. You will also be responsible for developing high-performing coaches, creating a positive work environment, and providing effective feedback to individual coaches on the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing supervision to a team of coaches to support the delivery of evidence-based treatment and high quality outcomes for our patients.
- Assist with recruiting and hiring high-quality coaches who have expertise working with children & families.
- In collaboration with clinical leadership, support the development and delivery of comprehensive training programs for new and existing coaches.
- Provide ongoing support and coaching to our team of coaches to help them deliver effective treatment and support outcomes for our patients.
- Provide human resource-related management of individual coaches, including conducting annual performance reviews and approving / tracking PTO requests.
- Support coaches in meeting role expectations; set clear goals for individual coaches, and provide regular feedback to help coaches achieve those goals.
- Track and analyze coaching data to monitor individual and team performance, identify areas of success, as well as areas for improvement.
- Assist with escalations and off-track cases, providing ongoing feedback to the therapy supervisor and collaborating on supporting decisions that align with the best practices and goals of the care team and organization.
- Provide back-up coaching services to patients and families to help cover coach absences and planned PTO.
- Develop and maintain a positive work environment that contributes to a positive provider experience.
- Participate in cross-functional collaboration, representing and advocating for the therapist experience in initiatives related to clinical and operational policies, procedures, and products.
- Option to provide direct care to a limited number of patients to gain first-hand experience with the InStride care model.
What You Need to Succeed in the Role
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anxiety and OCD and experience working with individuals who have these conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills, and the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Proven ability to develop high-performing teams and create a positive work environment.
- Strong coaching and feedback skills.
- Basic computer skills, facility with and openness to new technologies
- Ability to be flexible and nimble and work well both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, mission driven environment.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a manner that inspires confidence and trust.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Experience supervising and/or managing a team of professionals, preferred.
