The Marketing Manager at Behavioral Health Tech leads data-driven marketing campaigns, oversees brand management, and executes strategic marketing initiatives for our annual conference and year-round digital content. This role is responsible for driving community engagement, lead generation, and event attendance through compelling, well-targeted campaigns with a specific focus on the behavioral health ecosystem.

You bring a strategic mindset, creativity, and precision to your work. You’re adept at crafting campaigns that build community, drive engagement, and position Behavioral Health Tech as the go-to platform in the behavioral health innovation space.
You’re also a strong content creator, with a proven ability to grow an audience and deepen engagement through email marketing, social media, and digital platforms. Your work is data-informed, and you thrive in fast-paced environments where innovation and collaboration are key.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Programming, you will be responsible for creating and executing compelling marketing campaigns tailored to the behavioral health community, with an emphasis on mental health, addiction, and autism-related services.
Marketing Campaigns
- Lead multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, social media, website) to promote BHT’s annual conference, webinars, and podcasts, targeting key audiences in behavioral health including payers, employers, and providers.
- Develop and execute strategies to grow BHT’s newsletter subscriber base and digital reach with relevant, high-value content.
- Write and design marketing content that speaks directly to stakeholders in behavioral health, leveraging your knowledge of the industry.
- Implement email marketing campaigns that drive registrations, build engagement, and maintain excitement across the year.
- Analyze campaign performance and apply data-driven insights to optimize future initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure marketing efforts align with BHT’s thought leadership and mission to improve behavioral health access.
Brand Management and Content Creation
- Ensure brand consistency across all materials, with messaging that reflects BHT’s role in the behavioral health landscape.
- Maintain and update BHT’s website to support campaigns and community engagement, including uploading webinars and podcasts.
- Partner with the design team to develop branded assets and promotional content.
- Manage and grow BHT’s social media presence with original content and thought leadership relevant to behavioral health stakeholders.
- Create and execute a content strategy that repurposes material from events and digital content to drive year-round engagement.
Event & Community Engagement
- Develop marketing campaigns that build anticipation and drive attendance at BHT’s annual event.
- Coordinate communications with speakers, sponsors, and attendees before and after the event.
- Use digital channels to foster community among stakeholders in mental health, addiction, and autism care innovation.
Reporting & Analytics
- Monitor campaign performance and optimize based on KPIs such as engagement, conversions, and attendance.
- Deliver regular reporting and insights to inform marketing and business strategy.
- Use tools like HubSpot and Google Analytics to track ROI and improve performance.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in digital and/or event marketing, with direct experience in the behavioral health field.
- Strong understanding of the behavioral health ecosystem, especially health plans, employers, and provider organizations addressing mental health, substance use, and autism services.
- Demonstrated success in campaign management and content strategy targeting B2B healthcare or behavioral health audiences.
- Expertise with HubSpot for email marketing, landing pages, and analytics.
- Strong content creation skills for email, social media, and digital platforms.
- Familiarity with healthcare and behavioral health-specific messaging and marketing approaches.
- Excellent project management skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
- Experience with SEO, PPC, and social media marketing is a plus.
- Familiarity with ZoomInfo or similar tools is a plus.
