About the role
Equip’s Events Marketing Manager will support the strategy and execution of Equip’s presence at external events, both virtual and in-person, with their primary focus on external conference planning and execution. They will be a key driver of conference strategy and planning, including goal setting, conference & sponsorship evaluation, and end-to-end management across event execution and budget. This role will include working closely with cross-functional teams across Equip, including Commercial, Research, Clinical, and Executive colleagues.
A successful candidate will be organized, savvy, responsible, and attentive to detail. They will be comfortable working and collaborating across a variety of functions both within Equip and externally. This role will involve initiative and ownership, including traveling to and attending conferences independently. This role is an individual contributor role, and will report to the Director of B2B Marketing.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and select conference roadmap to ensure alignment with Equip’s brand, goals, and audiences.
- Evaluate conference impact across Equip’s business objectives to drive recommendations
- Own organization and tracking of Equip’s presence at external events, including budget tracking and research submissions.
- Own end-to-end conference execution, including attendee coordination, content, lead management, booth infrastructure, and post-event reporting.
- Develop playbook and best practices for conference presence.
- Use data to inform customer journey pre-, during, and post-conference.
- Work closely with creative and content teams to select appropriate content for each audience and coordinate content development and logistics.
- Oversee physical booth logistics and future booth enhancements.
- This role requires 30% travel to select conferences with other work duties performed in a remote capacity from home.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of event and/or marketing experience.
- The ability to break down large projects into individual tasks to create milestones and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with budget management.
- Excellent time management skills to maximize productivity and performance.
- High attention to detail. Must understand that small things can impact a project.
- Critical thinking skills to create solutions that will yield the highest quality impact.
- Comfortable interacting with many people, including vendors, attendees, and executives.
- A strong sense of ownership in your work and the company’s health.
- Ability to influence change and build consensus, including confidence collaborating across a variety of functional stakeholders.
- Natural instinct and a self-start mentality.
